A Message From Robin Payre, PrincipalTop of Page
Welcome to Cedarcreek Elementary School! This has been my home for fourteen years as I was a teacher, Teacher on Special Assignment, and as Principal. It is my firm belief that every student can learn when we provide a safe, nurturing environment that is built on positive, strong relationships. I believe that building relationships is the key to the success of a school. Relationships between staff, students and families are essential for the growth of our students. Relationships are built through trust, collaboration, and time spent together. Once these strong relationships are formed we are able to create learners.
CEDARCREEK LEARNERS CAN:
Learn from mistakes
Ask questions and accept challenges
Respond to feedback
Never give up
State what's being learned
Learners are people who can create their own future. Cedarcreek's goal is that our students become a learner in charge of their own destiny and life's dreams. We will persevere until each one of our students recognizes themselves as learners in charge of their own future. .
Let's build our relationship! Please join me at our school events like PTA, Site Council, ELAC meetings and Coffee with the Principal mornings. Also, see our calendar for dates regarding our Partners in Learning series of family nights and our PTA family events.

Enroll Now for 2019-2020!
Student enrollment is a critical part of our budget process for the coming year. As many California districts are experiencing, SUSD is experiencing declining enrollment. While we know that there are many reasons for why this is occurring, we need the community's help in ensuring we are accurately building our budget, staffing our classrooms, and purchasing materials for the coming year. According to recent enrollment comparison for the new school year (April 2018 vs. April 2019) we show 655 students fewer enrolled for 2019-2020 school year.
Our class size averages for next year (to date) are TK-3 is 26 students : 1 teacher and our grade 4-6 average is 30 students : 1 teacher. WE want to ensure we are fully staffed for the new year and prepared for the various student groups we will have attending our schools next year.
Please help us by enrolling your students today for the 2019-2020 school year. Remember that kindergarten enrollment for all students who will be 5 years old by September 2nd is happening now. Students who turn 5 between September 2nd and December 2nd can enroll in our Transitional Kindergarten classes.
Please reach out to your local school and enroll today!
