Cedarcreek Elementary School is one of 15 elementary schools in the Saugus Union School District, in Santa Clarita, California. Our intervention activities, daily English language support, and other programs combine to create an environment in which our students make tremendous academic and social achievements.

A Message from Our Principal

Dear Cedarcreek Families,

It is an honor and a privilege to join the Cedarcreek Elementary community as your new principal. I am excited to partner with our students, staff, and families as we continue to build upon the strong foundation that makes Cedarcreek such a special place to learn and grow. Throughout my career in education, I have been inspired by the power of meaningful relationships, engaging learning experiences, and a shared commitment to helping every child reach their fullest potential.

At Cedarcreek, our mission is to ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and empowered to achieve academic success while developing the social-emotional skills needed to become confident, compassionate, and contributing members of our community. We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom walls, and we are excited to continue expanding opportunities for students through innovative programs like our Edible School Yard. Through hands-on gardening, culinary experiences, and the integration of food education into classroom learning, students will have opportunities to explore connections between science, health, sustainability, culture, and creativity.

Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a collaborative and engaging learning environment where students develop skills, embrace curiosity, and take ownership of their learning. We believe in nurturing a growth mindset and encouraging students to approach challenges with perseverance, confidence, and a belief in their own abilities.
